Family Day Care Educators
Who can become an educator?
Family Day Care is the ideal career choice for early childhood professionals who are interested in running their own service. Unlike long day care settings, Family day care educators choose their own hours and days and write their own routines and programs, all with the support from our friendly and professional team.
Bambini take great pride in the quality of our service delivery. We actively seek to register educators with a passion for providing high quality service delivery. Collaborative partnerships are important to us and that is why we will work closely with suitable applicants to support them through the registration process.
In accordance with the Education and Care Services National Regulations all educators must have:
- Minimum Certificate 3 in Childrens Services
- PRODA number
- Working with Children Check and National Criminal History Check
- Current first aid training
- Current CPR, asthma training and anaphylaxis training
- A commitment to safety and prepared to follow the National Standards for Family Day Care
- A home that meets safety and environmental requirements
Approved
Bambini is an “approved service” which can entitle eligible users to the Child Care Subsidy (CCS). Bambini manage and process the Child Care Subsidy on behalf of the parent via the Government’s Child Care System.
Bambini Educators a provided with a free Harmony Web subscription enabling them to easily and confidently access timesheet and enrolment information between the educator, family and Bambini.
Family day care is a well established mode of child care which is governed by a set of National Standards administered by the Australian Children’s Education & Care Quality Authority.
Like other forms of child care, we work under the Department of Education, Skills and Employment and the Department of Education and Training ensuring that our service delivery is in line with governing expectations.
